The Hokuriku Shinkansen is a high speed train E7 that runs between Tokyo and Tsuruga. Some of it’s technical features include improved braking performance and shorter braking distances when earthquakes or emergencies occur. There is also a streamlined shape nose which helps reduce noise. It’s maximum operating speed is 260 km/h and it has the capacity of 924 passengers. The Hokuriku Shinkansen makes stops at these cities: Tokyo, Omiya, Karuizawa, Nagano, Toyama, Kanazawa, Fukui, and Tsuruga among others.
